Version 1.2: existing policy retained, with factual corrections and an Agent Message Hub supplement.
At a glance
1. Who charges you
Payments for the hosted-service subscription are processed by Polar Software, Inc., our Merchant of Record and authorized reseller. Polar appears on your card statement, issues your tax invoices and receipts, and executes refunds. Refund decisions involving GiljoAI discretion are made by us and carried out through Polar. Polar may also issue refunds under its Buyer Terms and card-network rules, including to prevent chargebacks, regardless of our discretionary refund policy; settlement timing follows Polar's and the card networks' processes, typically 5 to 10 business days after a refund is issued.
2. The trial never charges you
The 7-day free trial requires no payment method and never converts into a paid subscription automatically. If you do nothing at the end of your trial, you are charged nothing; your account becomes read-only while it remains accessible. A trial account that has not subscribed may be deactivated about 30 days after trial expiry, limiting sign-in and self-service export before scheduled deletion. Export your data while your account remains accessible; contact [email protected] if you need help accessing it. You only ever pay if you actively subscribe through checkout.
3. Subscriptions and renewals
The hosted service is billed in advance, monthly ($10 USD) or annually ($96 USD), plus applicable taxes, and renews automatically until canceled. The renewal price and cancellation method are shown at checkout before you subscribe, and Polar sends renewal receipts for every charge.
4. Cancellation
Cancel anytime, self-serve, from your account dashboard or the Polar customer portal. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current paid period: you keep full access until then, and no further charges occur. We do not offer partial-period or pro-rata refunds for time remaining after cancellation.
5. Statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with a mandatory withdrawal or cooling-off right, that right is honored in full through Polar as Merchant of Record. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable right you have under the law of your place of residence, including rights under the New Hampshire Consumer Protection Act, RSA 358-A, where applicable.
6. Errors and exceptional circumstances
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after a cancellation you can document, contact [email protected] and we will resolve it promptly, including a full refund of the erroneous charge. If exceptional circumstances apply (for example, a prolonged service outage during your billing period), tell us; we review these case by case and err on the side of the customer.
7. Before you file a chargeback
Please email [email protected] first. We resolve almost every billing issue within 2 business days, faster than a card dispute, and a chargeback freezes the process on both sides while the card networks investigate. If we cannot resolve your issue, you always retain your full dispute rights with your card issuer.
8. Which version applies
Refund requests are governed by the version of this policy in effect on the date of the charge in question. Prior versions are archived and available on request.
